Get ready for the Mobility Dogs Hackathon!

What is a hackathon we hear you cry? This 48-hour challenge aims to create innovative solutions to help disabled Kiwis effortlessly treat and train their dogs. We're excited to be holding this in collaboration with The University of Auckland Maker Club, and the event is happening from 12-14 July 2024,

Participants will gather at Unleash Space, in the UoA Engineering Building, to design tools that enable Mobility Dogs clients, especially those using wheelchairs, to easily give their dogs treats. With expert

guidance and access to various

tools and materials, teams will work towards developing practical, user-friendly prototypes over the course of the weekend.

We can't wait to share the results with you in our next newsletter!
