Dear ,

Hope you are doing okay during these challenging times. 1 year since the terrifying attacks of October 7th, and still over 100 hostages remain in captivity.  We pray for their safe return and an end to this war.  Please watch the communal Oct 7 commemorations on the links below.

Over the next week we will be hosting two fantastic events celebrating our 23 year history, and we will also be conducting our annual giving campaign to raise funds to send more young leaders on MOTL. Please see more information below.

Thank you for standing with us as we seek to educate about the Holocaust and the dangers of antisemitism and all forms of discrimination. Our mission feels vitally important during this time of increased polarisation.

KRISTALLNACHT

Kristallnacht, the "Night of Broken Glass" was a series of pogroms carried out by the Nazi regime on 9th November 1938. It is regarded as the beginning of the Holocaust. Today as anti-semitism rises we are confronted with how our dark history impacts our brighter future. Please join us at these upcoming community events.

INTERGENERATIONAL TRAUMA RESEARCH

Kim Slender, PhD student and former MOTL Board member and group leader, is seeking your help to complete her doctorate in intergenerational trauma.

The impact of 7th October on Israelis and Jews in the diaspora has been profound and is still being understood. For Kim Slender, the polarising effects of these events has hindered her academic support for completing her PhD, yet she remains determined to collect data on this crucial topic. Kim aims to gather insights from individuals aged 16-35, including both descendants of Holocaust survivors and others, and invites anyone interested, regardless of age, to participate in the survey and ensures your privacy is protected. Please consider being a part of this important research.
