Hi Friend,

As we look towards the holiday season, we're keen to share some of the highlights from the past few months. Here's a quick look at what's been happening and how you've helped make it all possible.

As we head into December, we're excited to announce our Matching Giving Campaign! This is your chance to double the impact of your donation—every dollar you give will be matched, and you can now donate as a gift as a downloadable gift card is now available. It's the perfect opportunity to make a big difference this holiday season.

In November, we hosted a memorable fundraising event at Gibbs Farm, where some of our wonderful supporters braved the rain and made the day unforgettable. From the stunning sculptures to the shared moments of joy, it was a truly special event.

We also had the privilege of attending the ADI Trainers Workshop in November, where we gained fresh insights and connected with others in the service dog community. The knowledge shared will help us continue improving our training methods and the lives of the dogs we work with.

Finally, Dogtober was a month filled with creativity, fun, and fundraising. From new tricks to exciting challenges, the community came together to raise vital funds for Mobility Dogs. Read on to find out more.

Thank you for being such an important part of our community. Your support truly makes a difference!

Best wishes,

Jody Wilson

We would also like to extend a big thank you to Drake Medox for their support during Dogtober. Drake Medox is an amazing provider of home care support for people with complex disabilities. They're known for going above and beyond to support their clients and what matters to them.

Karen Elliott is the deputy chair of the Mobility Dogs board and has been a client of Drake Medox for over 20 years as Karen has a high-level spinal injury. Her care team, which includes a skilled nurse and a roster expert, provides her with 24/7 support. When they learned about Karen's fundraising for Dogtober and knowing her deep love for dogs, Drake Medox—led by their dog-loving GM—stepped in to support her and her passion for Mobility Dogs.

Drake Medox has supported Mobility Dogs many times over the years and both organisation's share a strong interest in serving the disabled community. We're grateful to Anna O'Connor, Quality Manager at Drake Medox, for sharing this story and showing what true community support looks like.

We held our Gibbs Farm fundraising event and even the rain couldn't dampen the enthusiasm of our incredible supporters who joined us at the stunning location. With umbrellas in hand and smiles all around, we all had a memorable day exploring the breathtaking sculptures and landscapes.

Thanks to your generosity, we're thrilled to announce that the event raised over $13,000 to support the training of life-changing Mobility Dogs. We are so grateful to everyone who attended and contributed to making this event such a success.

Your support truly makes a difference! πŸΎπŸ’›

ADI trainers workshop

What happens when the world's top service dog trainers come together to share expertise and ideas? Magic.

In November two of our trainers joined peers from across the globe at the ADI Trainers' Workshop, diving into the latest techniques, challenges, and innovations in service dog training.

In our latest blog, we share the highlights from this incredible event and how it's shaping the future of Mobility Dogs. Don't miss the behind-the-scenes look at this collaborative journey!
