The US phenomenon of 'Black Friday' shopping arrived in New Zealand a few years ago and is being picked up by more and more retailers - I've seen adverts for many of the usual high street shops but also for online sales of underwear, pet food, glasses ...

We know it might be a good opportunity to get some Christmas shopping done and perhaps find some bargains, but if you're ready for some retail therapy and you'd rather not worry about whether you're actually getting a discount or not, how about going to our supporters for their quality products?

Wellington Zoo has fabulous experiences on offer through gift cards

We are honoured and privileged to be one of Wellington Zoo's conservation partners and thought a little plug wouldn't go amiss.

They offer some wonderful experiences with some of their animals and keepers and, while there, you'll see their blue penguins and perhaps their vets at The Nest Te Kōhanga in action, where they are currently caring for a tawaki found injured in Hokitika.
