Dear Friend,

A belated Chag Chanukah Same'ach!

We trust this finds you well and safe, and that you enjoyed an abundance of sufganiot (doughnuts) and levivot (latkes) over the Chag!

As we come to the end of yet another challenging and tumultuous year, it is fitting that we should celebrate Chanukah, the festival of Light, at this time.  2021 has been a continuation of a 'long and winding road', but we hold every hope that we are finally reaching a light at the end of the dark tunnel, and that we will emerge on the other side.

May we do so safely, positively, and with continued support of one another.

A Chanukah Journey in the Land of Israel
with Julian Resnick

Online Event Recording

On Thursday 2 December 2021, March of the Living Australia was excited to welcome highly-esteemed tour guide and educator Julian Resnick (the much-loved guide for our Adult MOTL delegation in 2019) for a virtual/online tour in which he took us on a Chanukah journey from the Temple Mount via the Graves of the Maccabees, Yad Vashem, the Gaza perimeter (and more) to his home on Kibbutz Tzora.

I Owe My Life to the Sheptytsky Brothers
Frances Prince in conversation with
Prof Dr Leon Chameides

Online Event Recording

On Sunday 21 November, as a follow-up to the fascinating "Righteous Among the Nations" online event we co-hosted with the Lamm Jewish Library of Australia in September, we were thrilled to partner once again with LJLA to present Frances Prince in conversation with Prof Dr Leon Chameides, a Survivor who was saved by the leadership of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church during the Shoah.

Leon provided an immensely moving and insightful account of his incredible story of survival, and the crucial role the Sheptytsky Brothers played in securing it.
