Dear Friend
"Do not be anxious for anything , but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." Philippians 4:6
Thank you for your prayers. They are a deep blessing of God's grace for all who are involved in the ministry of Ohfi. Fanner bees keep a hive at the right temperature through fanning air through the hive. In a similar manner you through your prayers fan God's grace through all the activities of Ohfi and in so doing empower them for the well being of children and families and the glory of God. |

| "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made ;
Your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Psalm 139 13-14.

The Evils of Trafficking
Recently Charis New Zealand Aotearoa, through the good offices of one of OHFI board members Josie Olsen, held an International 7 day of Jericho prayer to bring down the evil walls of the Trafficking of children, young people and adults.
Every year millions of people are trafficked for purposes of sex, labour, and sometimes for purposes of violence and war. Trafficking is a world wide but profitable evil. Nothing can disguise the fact that trafficking is horribly abusive for those caught up in the practice.
Trafficking flourishes in situations of poverty, neglect, violence, In particular uneducated girls and young women living in desperate circumstances are vulnerable to the lures of traffickers.
Human trafficking is an affront to our deeply held belief that the life of every person from the time of conception onwards is created by God and in His image. Every life therefore is held to be sacred, precious, and to be treated fairly with justice and respect.
We must keep praying against this evil. We pray that all the Governments in the world will co-operate together to eliminate this evil from our midst.
In its place we pray for a Culture of Life to flourish within which all life is held to be sacred and nurtured. Further that every human being regardless of culture, sex, age and ability is given opportunity equal to everyone else to develop their God given potential and able to grow into the men and women of God that they were ordained to be when they were created.
To build a Culture of Life in areas of poverty and vulnerability is a strong underlying motivation for the ministry of Ohfi. Our vision is that "every child in the world will belong to a home, family and community where they are safe and loved, receive good health care and education and know that God loves them."
We believe that as we out work our vision and build a Culture of Life in a community where children are loved, safe and well educated the risk of trafficking is negated. As individuals let us do all we can to build a Culture of Life, in the places we live and beyond. Please pray that in every community supported by OHFI that a Culture of Life flourishes for the well being of children and families.
Please pray that the evil walls of trafficking will tumble down and that no country allows this evil to exist within their borders.
Please pray for the universal recognition that every conceived child has the right to be born. |

Further prayer requests. Please continue to pray
—for the rural school of Chickonkoto in Zambia from funds provided by Ohfi. While the school has been approved by the Government and some state funding authorised, further funding is required to ensure the ongoing employment of two teachers along with the supply of teaching material.
— for the desire of Ohfi to form a trusting partnership with a reputable and Christian organisation in Uganda who can represent Ohfi in Uganda and have some oversight over the operation of our projects in Uganda.
—for peace in Manipur, NE India, where outbreaks of violence are still occurring; for God's protection and wisdom for Athang and Mariam and their son Gary, as they promote a gospel of reconciliation with those who have carried out activities of hate and violence.
— for Alice and Ken Winter of HANNAH who have recently left on their 6 weeks visit to the HANNAH ministry in Turges Mures , Romania. Especially pray for their desire to see community based care and protection projects flourish for the sake of children who are impoverished and are vulnerable to neglect and abuse.
May the love and peace of our Lord Jesus bless you and all your loved ones deeply.
