A special bond
Growing up with a future Mobility Dog is a truly special experience. The photo above, also featured in our newsletter header, captures the daughter of one of our dedicated puppy raisers sharing a quiet moment at their local library, reading to her furry friend—a Mobility Dog in training. Their family often brings their Mobility Dogs-in-training to the library, where the girls love reading to them. It's a relaxed and unjudgmental way to build confidence reading out loud while also strengthening their bond with these special dogs.
Not only do these dogs become part of the family during their early training, but they also teach patience, responsibility, and the joy of giving back.
For this young reader, it's a chance to form a lifelong bond—one that will help shape a dog destined to change someone's life. 💚 |
