You are invited to join DAA members from around Australia to an All Member Zoom being held on Tuesday 8th November commencing 7.00pm AEST (Brisbane). Please allow for time differences 8.00pm (Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney, Tasmania), 7.30pm (South Australia), 5.00pm (WA).

As many of you know, we have been privileged to hear from some fabulous guest speakers who have be inspiring us as we get our minds thinking about the Connect.Move.Live. aspect of our DAA objective.

Rose Glassock gave an enthusiastic talk in June as we reflected on Connect. Wynette Monserrat from DAA's Advisory Panel focussed on Move. and on the 8th November Robyn Moore, one of our Ambassadors will join us. Let's ensure Live. is something we celebrate!

Commonwealth Bank Not-for-Profit Treasurer's Awards recognise the important role treasurers play in the financial wellbeing of Community Organsations.

Our very own Treasurer, Sue Von Richter has been selected for her contribution to the restructure of Dragons Abreast Australia, to ensure a stable and sustainable future. This award has been recognised with a $5,000 donation to Dragons Abreast Australia.

Sue and the Board are delighted to attribute $1,500 towards the Pink Paddle Power Regatta in Melbourne to assist with their expenses. 'Go Pink Phoenix'!

Racing top and other colours available

DAA were recently the successful recipients of a $2000 grant from Choice Hotels, under their Choice Community Sports grants program. Dragons Abreast Australia applied for the grant to be able to distribute it to groups who have members attending the Pink Paddle Power regatta in Melbourne on 3rd Dec 2022 to help offset fees. Distribution of the funds to attending groups (as a full crew or in a composite boat) will be mid November, after close of registrations. Thank you to our ever-vigilant grants writer Janelle Pritchard.
